Arthrex: A Global Biotech Leader
The North Naples global medical device developer and pioneer in arthroscopy has over 1,300 employees and is expanding its headquarters and Ave Maria facility. Arthrex has continued to expand and was a recipient of economic incentives in 2016. With more than $435 million in revenues and roughly 3,200 employees worldwide, it's listed as one of Forbes' 100 Best Companies to Work For and is known for its daily free catered lunch, free health care, on-site medical care and year-end profit-sharing bonus.
ACI Worldwide: Fueling the Digital Economy
ACI develops, markets and installs software products and services for financial institutions, retailers and electronic payment processors. The global company powers electronic payments for more than 5,100 organizations around the world, including more than 1,000 of the largest financial institutions and intermediaries and thousands of leading retailers. ACI, which is listed as one of Forbes' Top Best Small Companies, moved its headquarters from NYC to Naples in 2012 and then expanded here as a result of economic incentives.
ConnexPay: Streamlining E-Commerce
Local startup ConnexPay graduated from the Naples Accelerator and relocated to a larger office in Northbrooke Plaza in North Naples after receiving more than $14 million in funding and hiring 11 people.
Directional Command LLC: Tech by Veterans, for Veterans
A veteran-owned business, Directional Command LLC packed up a large RV to tour the country, visit VA centers and meet with potential and current customers. The startup, which employs veterans, provides GPS telematics services for over 600 vehicles in several regions for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as providing high-voltage maintenance.
Kryosec Inc: Innovative Marketing Solutions
Kryosec Inc. has grown out of the Naples Accelerator and is now working on several large projects, including a smart-device marketing solution called Flare Central. The platform allows businesses, restaurants and others to deploy and control marketing beacons designed to grab potential and current customers’ attention. The beacons – data used to trigger information – end up on a smart phone of anyone passing by in the form of an alert or targeted marketing message designed to lure them inside for a sale or discount.
