Collier County's business and economic development mission statement is to ‘Implement a successful program of economic policies, strategies, and incentive programs that institutionalize a business-friendly environment through the delivery of world-class customer service.’

The top three priorities of these programs are:

• Business retention and expansion services;
• Business attraction services;
• Entrepreneurship through business acceleration services. 

In addition to internal division programs, we accomplish these priorities through active management and supervision of a financial incentives program and a public-private partnership with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. The County also has two Community Redevelopment Areas, and several special economic zones.
